FedDev Ontario — investment to support scale-up and growth
TorontoToday reported that BlueDot is supporting World Cup host cities including Toronto, Vancouver and Kansas City with disease-threat monitoring, and that the company tracks more than four billion commercial flight itineraries a year.
BlueDot launched BlueDot Assistant and Personalized Briefs. The release states one national surveillance team cut its weekly horizon-scanning work by 88 percent — a single client's reported result, not a product-wide guarantee.
BlueDot announced a $3M investment from FedDev Ontario to support its growth, stating it would help create 40 skilled jobs. The release notes the funding sits within a wider package of over $14M spread across eight GTA companies.
