Quantum Recon states that it “replaces coaxial cables with photonic cryogenic I/O — enabling fault-tolerant quantum systems without the thermal and density constraints that hold them back.” Rather than making “incremental improvements to existing cable technology”, it describes its aim as removing “the wiring bottleneck from fault-tolerant quantum computing” by “replacing it entirely with photonic integration”.
