Avalon Holographics states that it is "building the world's most advanced holographic displays", describing itself as "pioneering a new wave of display technology that will completely change how people produce, view, and understand visual content". It says that "By replicating the experience of looking at real-world objects and environments, our displays offer a realistic, comfortable, and accessory-free experience", and that with NOVAC it "conquered ten years of intense R&D, emerging with the world's first true holographic display table". The company states that its research, development and fabrication lab is located in Edmonton, Alberta, and that it now has over 80 people on staff, including 14 PhDs.
